I’m ready to write just went to Circle K and bought a Monster energy drink. Let me think… What will we be talking about tonight? Oh. I know what we could talk about, making money online, seeing that I do like doing that. We will focus this blog post on buying a website and refurnishing it to get back our Initial investment back. We will be using one of my resent personal experience in doing this.
A couple of days ago, I bought Nightmare On Elm Street 2010 Trailer, nightmareonelmstreettrailer.com, which is a small movie trailer website for the upcoming Freddy Krueger movie remake, at the price of $40. There were a few reasons why I bought it. Here are a couple:
- PR2
- Search Engine Traffic
- Earned $3 last month
- Keyword in the domain
With those reasons, I bought the website in a span of maybe 1 hour of noticing it. Seeing the original design, I knew improving the website design wouldn’t be to tough. With the website bought, I begun improving it instantly. Take a look at the original design and the redesign, below. I rearranged the adsense so it would fit better and get more clicks, made the design more darker and scarier, added and changed the content, made the navigation on top, and created more pages to get indexed. What do you think?

So… Lets talk about the numbers now. Okay, its only been five days since purchasing the website but already I’ve earned over half of the initial Investment, which has made me very satisfied. Lets break it down:
Expense:
Initial Investment = $40
Ad Listing on Sitepoint = $10
Income:
Adsense = $0.19
Private Advertisers = $20
Total = $20.19
Not to shabby, Invest $40 and in five days earn 50% back. I’ll keep everyone updated on the progress of this project. Have a good night.
