Oh no. I’ve been spotted! Today, I received an email from Weil, Gotshal & Manges, whom represents Airborne, Inc. informing me that my site airborne cold medicine site is a trademark infringement. They demanded that I immediately disable the site and transfer the domain to them… I don’t think so! I agreed to disable the site but not transfer the domain to them. I paid for the content and domain and giving it to them just doesn’t feel right so I have a few tricks up my sleeve before that ever happens.
How I responded.
Me: After reading the letter about my wrong doings, I responded by saying, “Would we be able to discuss further on fixing the problems and still allowing me to provide information on the airborne product to my visitors?â€
Them: They said, “please disable the website and we will contact you shortly to discuss the possibility of operating the site in the futureâ€.
What needs to be done
I’ll be researching trademark infringement online to find a solution to this without losing my site. I’m going to see if there are changes that can be done to remove the infringement. I need to see if changing the content or color scheme could allow me to keep the site.
As an Internet Publishers, you need to research and learn about trademark infringement to prevent others to push you around. I’m not saying that Airborne, Inc. but they might not be telling me the complete truth about this situation. They are making it seem like I only have one option, which is to give the site to them.
When buying a domain with the product name in it, I took the chance of this happening. That is why I’m not really upset. I know this was a mistake on my part and need to learn this lesson and maybe even turn it in to a accomplishment.
NO INTERNET AND COMPUTER WILL MAKE BOB SCHMUCK GO CRAZY! About a weeks and a half ago, we (wife and I) found a new house that we wonted to purchase. It took us four days to buy the house (lease to own) and a week to move everything so I had not Internet for a week, which made me go crazy. I couldn’t update my Blog, add content to my information sites, add flash games to my game sites, and read other Blogs and forums. Now, I’m finally back and ready to work and learn. The positive part of the week break was that it allowed me to some deep thinking on how to improve my projects.
Outsourcing
I’ve been outsourcing content writing and finally found someone that writes great with reasonable prices. How did I find a good content writer? Trial & Error! I had to weed through different writers to finally find one that I really like. It was well worth the money because it gives me more free time to develop new project instead of spending my time writing article. On the side note, my mom still writes articles for me but my projects are growing so they need more then just one writer. She is still the best writer out there! Check out her writing services page. Every time I see her articles, I wish I could write that good.

Advice
Have money work for you instead of working for money. Use the power of money as a tool to get or make an asset not a liability. Only you have the power to choice between using $60 or more on a pair of shoes and using that $60 to develop a website (asset) or anything else that produces a passive income.
I have decided to add another source of income by applying for Kontera, which is a in-text advertiser. After a couple of week, I was approved and have been using it since April 5th on one of my information sites. I’m very happy with the results so I’m slowly requesting my other information sites to be added to the program. As far as I know it hasn’t affected the experience of my visitors. The reason I believe is because it is so low key advertising.
The reason for this additional source of income is to not relying so much on adsense. I want to eventually have many different sources of income from my sites so if anything happens, I’m not in the shitter.
For all you new Internet Publisher, try to not fully rely on only adsense because if anything accentually happens you’ll be screwed if all your income is from only one source.
AdSense advertisement has a cleaner spanking new look. What do you think about the change? On their blog, A fresh, new look for AdSense ads, they said the new format had better results in the testing and research for publishers and advertisers. This is good news! Personally, I want to see the results, which will take time to see. If I don’t see the improved results, I will walk up to the AdSense front door and nock. I will say, “I don’t respect the new stupid new look, please change it back!†I bet that would have results.
Truthfully, I am fond of the new look of the advertisement from Google AdSense. The main reason I think the new look will be better is the fact that the first thing on the advertisement is the advertisers ads not the link to Google.
