AGLOCO, another souce of income!

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 2:24 pm

aglocoRecently, I found out about AGLOCO, which is a global community. Whenever I’m online, either surfing, clicking on advertisements, blogging, or purchasing products, all the money generated by my activities returns to me. Best of all it’s totally free and I don’t have to disclose any personal information.

How can you earn money too?

Sign up and begin referring people and wait until the toolbar is released. Very simple! :)

How does it work?
I use the Internet -> Companies make money -> Companies pay AGLOCO -> AGLOCO Pays me. :)

As of right now, the Viewbar is in beta and tester are the ones using them; however, soon it will be available and we all can begin making extra income just by surfing the Internet.

My blog was down…

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 3:17 pm

For the past two days, my blog was down and the reason is because there were scary green ninjas trying to take over bobschmuck.com. I had to use my Kung Fu grip and rabbit fighting style to defeat the scary ninjas. Don’t worry I recovered all the posts from the bad guys. If they archived their goal of controlling my blog, they would have the power of posting annoying article that would put visitors to sleep. That would be very scary because imagine everyone sleeping and not learning… We would have a lot of dumb tired people. :)

Ready for the truth, my mom (Jan) changed her hosting account and seeing that bobschmuck.com was on her server it caused my blog to be down until they finished the transfer. The worst part was that I forgot that my blog was on her hosting account so I had no warning. Even though the green ninjas and the rabbit fighting style are false, it would still be scary if everyone were dumb and tired. :0)

I’m glad to be back. I’ll be posting updates on gameoftheday.net soon. Until then keep on reading and learning.

Gameoftheday - Huge update!

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 10:23 am

The following are the topic of choice for today’s blog post.

  1. Yahoo Publish Network… Show me the clicks!
  2. AdSense, HELP ME!
  3. Keepin it real and positive.
  4. The future plans
  5. The first new feature = Finished

Yahoo Publish Network… Show me the clicks!
Yesterday, Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) earns $0 on Gameoftheday.net showing no clicks even though I know for a fact it got 6 clicks. How do I know? Mybloglog account has stats showing what readers clicked… This doesn’t make sense. The only possibility that I can think of is that the paid traffic that I got early this month was non-USA traffic which I found out that YPN doesn’t like non-USA traffic so this bring me to my next Choice…

AdSense, HELP!
Yeah… I’m thinking running back to AdSense until the end of my paid non-USA traffic (Feb 8th). At that time I’ll switch back to YPN and purchase $100 worth of USA traffic. This will make it a little more difficult purchasing cheap traffic but I should still be able to buy $0.01 or $0.02 per click.

Keepin it real and positive.
Even though this dilemma is challenging my next months goal, I’m not worried because all projects are suppose to have challenges that need to be fix. If you can’t handle problems, you shouldn’t develop website. Remember my post, Gameoftheday.net - Update(1), If I decided to give up cause there was a dilemma in understanding CMS, I would have never gotten this far of the possibility of making over $1,000 on the second month. Never and I mean never give up! Giving up is your number one enemy; however, an enemy you have control over. ;) One way or another, this project will be successful either by the learning experience that can be carried to the next project or the earned income that will be reinvested.

The future plans
With this dilemma, it has helped me realize that gameoftheday.net needs my attention. I’m going to add more features and add-on before February 8th (Purchasing $100 worth of advertisement) to improve the site. I’ll keep everyone updated on the changes. I’ve already made my to do list. I have a lot to do before the next month. :)

The first new feature = Finished
I added another feature that shows who’s on the site, provided by mybloglog, on gameoftheday.net. Check it out! This feature has small pictures of cool visitors at the bottom right of the pages. I’m hoping this will bring more visitors to the site. What does everyone think about this feature?

Well… Thats about it for now. I’ll keep everyone updated on the progress. :)

Gameoftheday - Update(5)

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 1:59 pm

Gameoftheday.net still standing strong! It has made $89.85 so far, giving me a profit of $58.85. If it stays on track, the site should have a profit of $193.70 for the first month. I will be reinvesting half of the profits back into the advertisment for the project. This means I’ll be spending close to $100.00 on advertisment for the month of February. If I have the same results, next months profit should be around $1,550.00. Not bad for just investing $30 of my own money in the beginning.

So.. my goal for the gameoftheday.net is to earn $1,643.00 after the first two months. keep in mine this is just the plan, things could change in the future…

Also, I changed the affiliate on the right site with a Ringtone offer. The reason for the change was because the other affiliate wasn’t earning anything after two weeks. I really want to have multiple sources of income so I’m not relying on only one source.

Tagged… Again! :)

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:17 pm

Guess what… I got tagged again by Jon Waraas however their is a twist. I have to tell you 5 things that you wouldn’t know about me. Well… here you go the five unknown things you shouldn’t know. But I decided to also include 1 extra unknown thing. ;)

1. I’m a one nut wonder…
Two weeks before my 17th birthday, I was diagnosed with a rare form of a soft tissue cancer (Rhabdomayosarcoma) on my right testicle so now I’m aerodynamic. I also went through 9 months of chemotherapy treatment.

2. Home Schooled
My father and mother decided to home school me from the beginning and I am very happy with their decision. There choice has helped me grow to the person I am today. :)

3. Eagles Scout
In 2002, I achieved the rank of Eagles Scout. My Eagle Scout project means a lot to me because it was the beginning of my journey in developing websites. I made my first site, which was ugly, but it got me started.

4. Strip bar… What?
Personally, I find it dumb paying girls to act like they like me. In my teens (18-19 years old), I felt weird thinking about paying for a girl to pay attention. Especially, now, I have a beautiful wonderful wife that cares and makes me feel special.

5. Collage Dropout
After one year of college, I decided to leave College. I believe college is great for people who want to become employees with paper (diplomas) not employers. As an Internet Entrepreneur, I need to know a little about a lot of different topics not a lot on one topic. I’m not saying College didn’t help - it did - but after learning what I needed… I left.

6. My dad spoils me very much (an extra one unknown thing)
Most of you know that I work with my dad, cleaning carpets, but most don’t know how much he truly spoils me. Every time we stop at a gas station he buys the snacks and drinks. When he knows we are short on money, he helps with bills, food, and anything else that could help us. For example, he bought us some groceries today. I would like to personally say thank you dad for helping us when we need it. :)

Now, the fun part. I am going to tag four other Internet Entrepreneurs, which will be Bryan Le, Jimmy Reimer, and Jan Pavis (Mom), and Khalid.

Gameoftheday.net - Money Money Money

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 9:20 am

It is nice.. yeah! I never imagined this kind of success with gameoftheday.net. It has been averaging over $10 a day for the past three days. The total earned so far is $64.67 including the $1.43 from adsense.

I’m a little worry about the high payout with such a low number of visitors so I just email yahoo Publish Network to confirm I’m not breaking any rules. I’ll keep everyone updated on their response.

I also emailed Jon Waraas thanking him for his guidance from his blog. Thanks Jon!

Gameoftheday - Success

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 9:28 am

Good morning readers, I have a bowl of eggs and my coffee… I’m ready to tell everyone about the success of Gameoftheday.net. I’ve really enjoyed keeping everyone updated on this project. It has taught me a lot and I hope it has taught my readers something too.

It has been 6 days (not including today) since the Grand Re-opening of Gameoftheday.net. I am happy to tell everyone… The site has earned $39.70 making a profit of about $9.00 and it still has 24 more days before the end of the first month. If it keeps the same daily average for the rest of the month, I’ll be earning $198.54. That would make a nice little profit. :)
The affiliate link has been getting a few clicks each day but no income, yet. I’m still going to leave it up for the month to just see. I don’t want all my income coming from just one source (Yahoo Publisher Network).

The $1 spent at sitepoint.com to post a link exchange has worked well getting me around 10 different sites to exchange links with.

You know what you need to go do now… Get your ass moving and develop those web sites! You need to get some hands on experience; watching/reading about other Internet Entrepreneurs making money won’t make you money. ;) Its like saying, “I just got done watching Barry Sanders rush for 200 yards in one game. I think I can do the same because I just saw how to do it.” If you didn’t know Barry Sanders was one of the best running backs in football and even if I watched him everyday, still couldn’t rush as good. But if I started practicing and being dedicated to the sport of football, I could become a pretty good running back. I might not be as good as Barry Sanders but I would be too busy to care.

Oh yeah, I was tagged again by Jon Waraas but this time I have to write about 5 things you wouldn’t know about me… so I’ll be posting that soon. :)

Until next time…

Today, nothing going on.

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:13 pm

Nothing really happening today anything online, we spent most of the day at my dad’s house with my little sisters. Just relaxing and watching Family Guy to night with my wonderful wife.

Oh yeah, Gameoftheday.net is still making a nice profit. This site has been an eye opener, showing me that with work any site can be successful.
Have a nice weekend.

Until next time…

Gameoftheday - Adding an affiliate.

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:54 am

Yesterday, I added an affiliate, Gamefly, on the right side of the page. I want to see if the site can earn a little extra cash by supplying my visitors with another feature, which is to rent video games. However, the main reason for adding the affiliate is to have different sources of income from gameoftheday.net. I will probable leave it up for the remaining of the month and decide then to keep it or leave it.

Also some good news, with Yahoo Publish Network, yesterday (Day 5) Gameoftheday.net earned $7.21 that makes the total to $20.52. It has already paid for the month of advertisement in only five days.

I’ll talk to you tomorrow… :)

Gameoftheday - Update(4)

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 9:28 am

It has been three days since the Grand Re-opening of Gameoftheday.net. I am very happy with the success, so far. The first two days, I was a little worried because adsense wasn’t earning enough (check the image below). It only made $1.42 in two days and I needed it to make at lease $2.10. Around 8:00 pm on the second day, I decided to switch to Yahoo Publisher Network. That night alone it earned $2.00. Then yesterday (Day 3), it earned $9.84. So… after the first three days, I’ve earned $13.31 and spent $3.15 (3-day average on expenses). I would love to be able to spend $20 on advertisement and earn $200+ monthly from Gameoftheday.net.

Here are the stats…

I’ll keep everyone updated. :)
