Gameoftheday - Update(4)
It has been three days since the Grand Re-opening of Gameoftheday.net. I am very happy with the success, so far. The first two days, I was a little worried because adsense wasn’t earning enough (check the image below). It only made $1.42 in two days and I needed it to make at lease $2.10. Around 8:00 pm on the second day, I decided to switch to Yahoo Publisher Network. That night alone it earned $2.00. Then yesterday (Day 3), it earned $9.84. So… after the first three days, I’ve earned $13.31 and spent $3.15 (3-day average on expenses). I would love to be able to spend $20 on advertisement and earn $200+ monthly from Gameoftheday.net.

Your using that ad service I told you about for traffic correct? I think you should try a different ad targeting with your site also..
Also, add more content to the homepage, people like to see busy homepages these days, makes them browes the site more..
What is your average users pageveiws. My site is at 5 page views per user, which is decent :-s

Oh Yeah, Jon, I’m buying cheap traffic from adengage and its working great. I followed your method in developing an entertainment site with my site gameoftheday.net and its working great.

How do you earn over $9 from so few impressions? Do you have an impressively high CTR or just very high paying keywords via Yahoo?

Jay, just very high paying keywords and the CTR is actually low.
