Gameoftheday - Grand Re-Opening
Today, after 11 days, Gameoftheday.net is having its Grand Re-Opening with 68 active arcade flash games and a complete redesign. This project has been a learning experience with a few obstacles to overcome. For example, the CMS (cutenews), which allowed me to have the arcade flash games update daily, was very difficult to work with; however, All the obstacles were worth the irritation because I’m very happy with the end results.
Now comes the fun part… Promoting Gameoftheday.net. I’ve just purchased $20 worth of advertisements for a month (Jan 8th to Feb 8th) and I posted a thread on sitepoint to link exchange for $1. Here is a break down of the money spent on this site.
- Domain $10
- Advertisment $20
- Link Exchange request $1
- Total $31
Seeing that I’ve spent a total of $31, gameoftheday.net must earn over $1.05 a day for the next month to have any profit.
