Financial Freedom
In 2001, when I developed my first website on Testicular Cancer, I had no idea that in 6 years I would be developing websites earning passive income, which involves not having a boss and working when I want to. At the time, the only reason for me to learn HTML and develop the testicular cancer website was for my Eagle Scout Project however I enjoyed it so much I wanted to learn more about developing websites as a hobby. That hobby has turned in to so much more then just a hobby it has become so much more… kinda of an addiction but in a good way. Daily, I want to learn more about affiliate, off-site and on-site SEO, outsourcing, and coding. In September, I wrote an article about My Addiction, which you should read for a laugh. The following is my list of goals to achieve to get to financial freedom. My wife and I are about half way to financial freedom, which means having our passive income (online income) exceeding our expenses.
- Develop a business system for my LLC
- Have my assets earn more then my expenses
- Get in control with my personal Financial Statment
- Make a 12 month and 5 year financial goals
- Buy and create assets that make monthly income
- Deposit 10% into an savings account for future investments
- Come up with an extra $150 to $200 monthly to pay off liabilities
I would like to apologize to my readers for the lack of blog posts. I’ve just been busy with personal life and learning more and more about developing websites. I’m debating on how much information to post about my projects (websites) for the fear of copy cats. I don’t want to post to much information about a website thats doing great and have someone else copy it and change the outcome. I’ve been learning a lot lately. One thing I’ve learned was the difference between saving money and investing money into future projects (assets). for example, one of my recent website projects has earned around 250% of my initial investment in just over three months on adsense; however, I still have a lot to learn and experience to gain. which is why I don’t want to give my readers false information on proper ways to advertise, developing websites, and outsourcing. Most of want I’ve learned has been through trial and error. Anyways… If you have any other tips for improving financial freedom, comment on this post to help fellow readers.
